The WolfTrack Classic is known for its scenic north woods terrain and unrelenting hills that test the mettle of mushers and dogs. The race is a premier mid-distance sled dog race spanning 65 miles through northern Minnesota’s State Trail system.

Winter sports enthusiasts from all over the U.S. and Canada come out to enjoy our race whether it’s 35 above or 35 below. The race features more than Sixty mushers and 400+ sled dogs from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Dakota and Canada.

Annually over 200 individuals dedicated to the safety of the sled dogs, the participants and our spectators volunteer to keep the spirit and proud history of the working sled dog in Northeastern Minnesota alive for generations to come.
