Our remote cabins are hand hewn log cabins. Most of our remote cabins are located just minutes from the BWCA, away from roads and traffic. Our remote cabins offer not only privacy and solitude, but wonderful opportunities to see and hear a variety of wildlife. Chances are good you will hear wolves and loons right from your own remote cabin. Whether preparing for a trip into the BWCAW, or just wanting to experience Ely, the Adventure Inn will offer you clean and comfy, eco-friendly lodging. Our staff will make sure your rooms are immaculate, the coffee locally sourced and steaming, and the pastries made right here in Ely. Down pillows and duvets will snuggle you at night, along with our organic cotton sheets. We offer dog friendly accommodations as well.
Canoe Country Outfitters is conveniently located in downtown Ely, plus we maintain a private canoe base on Moose Lake (20 miles east of Ely). From these two locations we are able to quickly service all area trip starting points. We have outfitted more people and have been under the same family management longer than any other outfitter, so no one can match our experience and knowledge of the area.
Entry permits are required to travel through this area and we’ll make the application in your behalf. These permits are very limited, so early planning is a must.
