Northern Grounds, a long time Ely favorite has come back to life in downtown! Located at the intersection of Central Ave. & Sheridan St., the former VFW has also experienced a revival of its own. Recently remodeled, the brick and tin work is swoon-worthy.
We welcome guests to enjoy fine wines, craft beers and on-site roasted coffee as well as the baked goods and accompaniments guaranteed to please. Some of the most noteworthy additions are pour-over single origin coffee, nitro coffee, 47 wines by the glass, and craft cocktails!
I have thoroughly enjoyed Northern Grounds and the myriad of excellent events from Poetry Readings to Rye Whiskey Tastings. It’s a great place to meet up for coffee or happy hour!
