Kiwanis International is a global community of clubs, members and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time. Today, we stand with more than 550,000 members from K-Kids to Key Club to Kiwanis and many ages in between in 80 countries and geographic areas. Each community has different needs, and Kiwanis empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children, such as fighting hunger, improving literacy and offering guidance. Kiwanis clubs host nearly 150,000 service projects each year.

Praise Fellowship, a non-denominational Christian church is centered in Jesus Christ and uses only the Bible to teach the difference between religion and Christianity. We want people to know that God is love and that Jesus came to save us not condemn us, and the only way to possessing eternal life is having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Ely Memorial High School is located at the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Our 550 students truly get the best of all educational worlds: dedicated teachers who know every student, a variety of state-caliber sports and extracurricular activities in which to excel, and a safe environment and supportive community in which to learn.Though our beautiful buildings are historic, students have access to the latest technologies; they learn using Smart-boards in numerous classes, while three computer labs are open for their research assignments or creative impulses.
